Kingston Police Launch Enhanced Online Police Reporting

Kingston Police is advising the public of our enhanced online police reporting platform designed to make it easier, faster, and more convenient for community members to report eligible non-emergency incidents.
The platform allows residents, business owners, and visitors to the city to submit certain police reports online at any time, from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. Online reporting is intended for non-life-threatening incidents that are not in progress, do not involve immediate danger, and do not require an officer to attend urgently.
The enhanced system supports timely reporting, improves accessibility, and helps ensure frontline officers remain available for emergency calls and priority responses. All online submissions are reviewed by police personnel and may be assigned for follow-up where additional information or investigation is required.

- Damage to Vehicle

- Harassing Phone Call
- Hate/Bias Motivated Incident Report
- Identity Theft
- Intersections Program/Referral
- Lost Property
- Traffic Complaint
- Property list for B&E
- Theft (all theft except vehicle theft)
- Theft from Vehicle
- Trespass to Property
- Vandalism/Graffiti/Mischief
- Vulnerable Persons Registration/Update/Cancellation

- Choose the type of incident and confirm that the matter is eligible for online reporting.
- Complete the online form and provide as much detail as possible.
- Submit the report and retain the confirmation/incident number for your records.
Users can upload supporting information such as photographs, video, documents, or written statements. A member of the Kingston Police may contact the reporting person if clarification or follow-up is required.
Every report helps police better understand community concerns, identify trends, allocate resources effectively, and respond to public safety issues. The enhanced platform is part of ongoing work by the Kingston Police to improve service delivery and provide accessible options for the public.
