DRUG TRAFFICKING CHARGES LAID FOLLOWING INVESTIGATION

(DRYDEN, ON) - An investigation led by the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Provincial Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team, the OPP North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), and members from the Dryden OPP Detachment has led to charges being laid against two residents of Dryden and an individual from Southern Ontario.
On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, just before 12:00 pm CDT, members of OPP North West Region ERT conducted a traffic stop on Highway 17 east of Dryden as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation. Three individuals were arrested and charged with drug-related offences. The investigation resulted in the seizure of suspected illicit drugs, including cocaine.
As a result of the investigation, Carlon HILAIRE, 20 years old, of North York, has been charged under the Controlled drugs and Substances Act with the following offence:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Additionally, Trevor NORMAN, 49 years old, and Sherri DUNLOP, 40 years old, both of Dryden, have been charged under the Controlled drugs and Substances Act with the following offence:
- Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
The accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden on Monday, August 10, 2026.
