(BANCROFT, ON) - Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one person and laid multiple charges.
On Sunday, January 26, 2026, shortly after 8:30 pm, officers were on general patrol when they observed a wanted party in the Town of Bancroft. A short time later officers arrested the accused. A search was conducted and a small amount of drugs were located.
As a result, Ashely SHAW, 35, of Bancroft has been charged with the following:
- Fail to Comply with a probation order - 4 counts
- Possession of a Schedule I substance
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on March 3, 2026.
