DUFFERIN OPP CONNECT WITH COMMUNITY AT ORANGEVILLE ROTARY RIBFEST KIDSFEST

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) - Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary Unit, along with the detachment’s Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI) students, attended the Orangeville Rotary RibFest KidsFest on July 19, 2026.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for Dufferin OPP members to connect with the community, engage with local families, and build positive relationships with residents of all ages.
Throughout the day, Auxiliary members and YIPI students had the opportunity to meet many energetic young community members, answer questions, and share information about the important role police play in keeping our communities safe.
Community engagement is an important part of policing, and events like KidsFest provide a great opportunity for our members to connect with residents in a positive and welcoming environment.
