IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGES LAID ON A SAULT STE. MARIE RESIDENCE

(SUDBURY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged one person with impaired driving after responding to a traffic complaint.
On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at approximately 10:50 pm, members from the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the OPP, responded to a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Highway 17, Sudbury.
The vehicle was located and the driver, Suzanne ROBINSON, 47 years old, from Sault Ste. Marie was arrested and charged with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 22, 2026, in Sudbury.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
