ORILLIA CSCU CHARGE TWO AS INVESTIGATION LEADS TO LARGE SEIZURE

(ORILLIA, ON) - Members of the Orillia Detachments Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have laid multiple drug related charges after a lengthy investigation and the execution of search warrants lead to large seizure in the Township of Severn.
In the fall of 2025, Orillia Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), commenced a drug trafficking investigation into individuals within the Simcoe County area trafficking drugs throughout the community. On June 6, 2026, through a multi-faceted investigative approach and with assistance from the Orillia Community Mobilization Unit (CMU) and Muskoka Street Crime Unit (CSCU), multiple warrants were executed, leading to two individuals being arrested and charged. Suspected drugs, cellular devices, and weapons were seized as part of the investigation.
As a result of the investigation, the following was seized:
- 5048 grams Cocaine
- 30 Oxycodone tablets
- Over $110,000 Canadian Currency
- 2026 Volkswagon Tiguan
- 4 Cellular Devices
- 2 Laptops
- Money Counter
- Drug trafficking related paraphernalia
Subsequently; Elizabeth OSBORNE, 20 years old, of Barrie, has been charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
- Possession of opioids other than heroin for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
And was held for a bail hearing.
Jaxssin STANTON, 22 years old, of Severn Township, has been charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking - Cocaine
- Possession of opioids other than heroin for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
And was released and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia on a future date.
