Public Appeal for Witnesses, Dashcam Footage
(ORILLIA, ON) - The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking witnesses or dashcam footage to assist with the ongoing sudden death investigation at Scout Valley Trail.
On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at approximately 7:10 pm, officers were called to Scout Valley Trail where one person was located deceased. A 33-year-old from Brampton was arrested and charged in connection with the death.
The investigation continues. Police are urging anyone who was in or near the Scout Valley Trail area on the evening of Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to contact police with any information that may assist investigators, including dashcam footage.
