SD&G OPP INVESTIGATING EARLY-MORNING COMMERCIAL FIRE IN IROQUOIS

(IROQUOIS ON) - Members of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a structure fire at a business on County Road 2 in Iroquois.
On Monday, June 29, 2026, shortly after 2:00 am, SD&G OPP officers responded to reports of a fire at a commercial plaza on County Road 2. Officers attended the scene along with local fire services.
The fire was extinguished, and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The SD&G OPP Crime Unit is leading the investigation with assistance from OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS). Investigators are also working closely with the Ottawa Police Service in relation to an ongoing investigation that may have connections to this incident.
