(HEARST, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be providing a brief media availability regarding the ongoing investigation into a fatal incident involving an OPP officer in Hearst.
Commissioner Thomas Carrique will provide a brief address.
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm (exact time TBC)
Location: James Bay (Hearst) Detachment, 1211 Front Street, Hearst
Media are reminded that, as the investigation is in its early stages, details that can be shared at this time are limited.

OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali was assigned to the Dufferin Detachment, with two and a half years of service. At the time of his death, Provincial Constable Bali, who was 29 years of age, was on deployment with the James Bay Detachment.
