(CENTRAL FRONTENAC TOWNSHIP, ON) - A wanted individual is in custody following an investigation by members of the Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with assistance from the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad and a member of the Offender Management Apprehension Program (OMAP).

On Friday, June 19, 2026, at approximately 3:00 pm, a Frontenac OPP officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Road 38 in Central Frontenac Township when they observed a dirt bike travelling northbound toward Sharbot Lake. The dirt bike was being operated without a licence plate displayed. The rider failed to stop for police and fled the area.

As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued for the individual’s arrest.

On July 6, 2026, the individual was located and arrested at a residence in Parham without incident.

Frank Teal, 34 years old of Parham, has been charged with:

  • Flight from peace officer
  • Operation while prohibited - five counts
  • Drive motor vehicle, no licence
  • Drive motor vehicle, improper licence
  • Drive motor vehicle, no plates
  • Owner operate a motor vehicle without insurance

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and remains in custody.
