WITNESSES SOUGHT FOR COLLISION ON QEW IN HAMILTON

(BURLINGTON, ON) - The Burlington detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police - Highway Safety Division (OPP-HSD) is seeking witnesses in relation to a collision that occurred on June 19, 2026, at 11:10 am in the Fort Erie bound lanes of the QEW highway before the Nikola Tesla Blvd / Woodward Ave exit in the City of Hamilton.
Three vehicles were involved in the collision resulting in five patients being transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. Police have received information that there were vehicles involved in a road rage incident in the vicinity and that may have contributed to the cause of the collision. Witnesses are being sought by police that may have observed or have dashcam of the collision or any vehicles or events that led up to the collision.
