All Non-Life-Threatening Injuries - Investigation Continuing
(WEST PERTH, ON) - Two motor-vehicle collision resulting in several non-life-threatening injuries. Investigation continuing.
On July 30, 2026, at approximately 4:30 pm, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two motor-vehicle collision outside of Mitchell, at the intersection of Perth Road 164 and Perth Line 39 within West Perth, involving a pick-up truck and a sedan.
As a result of the collision, four occupants from the sedan sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. One individual was subsequently transported by air ambulance to a trauma centre.
All four occupants’ injuries were then later determined to be non-life-threatening, with an unknown time of recovery.
The two occupants inside of the truck did not sustain any injuries.
The intersection was closed for a period of time but has since been reopened.
