TWO INDIVIDUALS CHARGED IN STOLEN PROPERTY INVESTIGATION

(NORTH PERTH) - The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged two individuals in relation to trafficking in stolen property in the Municipality of North Perth.
On June 16, 2026 the Perth County OPP learnt that a forklift valued at over $51,000 stolen from a Mississauga property was attempting to be sold at an address in the Town of Listowel.
Members of the Huron-Perth Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) with assistance from the Perth County OPP executed a search warrant at a property where the forklift was located.
As a result, police seized $11,450 and recovered the forklift to be returned to its owner.
Bradley Popp, a 48-year-old resident of North Perth was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Trafficking stolen property
Ryan Lee, a 60-year-old resident of Cambridge was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
- Trafficking stolen property
Both accused have been released from custody and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 14, 2026.
