DISTURBANCE IN KINCARDINE RESULTS IN CHARGES

(KINCARDINE, ON) - The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a young driver after a mischief complaint in the Municipality of Kincardine.
On Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 12:13 am, South Bruce OPP officers received reports of a group of youths causing a disturbance in the area of Saratoga Road in the Municipality of Kincardine.
Police located the vehicle and youths, and after speaking with the driver, observed signs of alcohol consumption.
The youth driver- a 16-year-old from Kincardine, was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
-Novice Driver - B.A.C. Above Zero
-Young Driver - B.A.C. Above Zero
The youth’s drivers’ licence was suspended for 7 days. Parents were contacted for the youths and transportation was arranged.
