(LONGLAC, ON) - Members from the Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a capsized boat on Long Lake.
Greenstone OPP and EMS were dispatched to a boat that had capsized on Long Lake at approximately 1 pm on June 28, 2026. The boat was carrying a lone male occupant who was able to hold onto the capsized boat until rescued by the Greenstone OPP marine unit 30 minutes later. The male was pulled from the water and brought back to shore where he was checked over by EMS.
