OPP SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE WITH IDENTIFYING PERSONS OF INTEREST

(GERALDTON, ON) - The Greenstone Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance with identifying three individuals in connection to a home invasion and attempted abduction at a local residence.
On Saturday, July 11, 2026, shortly before 12:00 pm, officers responded to a report of a home invasion and attempted abduction of a youth that had taken place earlier that morning. At approximately 8:00 am, three males forced entry to a home and attempted to remove a youth from the residence. The males eventually exited the residence after being asked to leave by the homeowner.
Officers are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the three suspects as well as their vehicle.
Suspect 1:
- Indigenous male
- Muscular/heavy build
- Scar on upper lip
- Left arm tattoo; fish with a hook in its mouth and cursive writing below it
- Thin moustache
- Black shirt
- Black pants
- Black work boots
Suspect 2:
- Indigenous male
- Shoulder-length hair
- Clean-shaven
- Beige pants
- Black t-shirt
Suspect 3:
- Indigenous male
- Mid-length hair
- Clean-shaven
- Black shirt
- Black pants
- Black boots
Suspect Vehicle:
- Black Jeep or SUV
- Heavily tinted windows
- Duct tape affixed to rear windshield on passenger side
- Last observed travelling westbound toward Main Street from Clark Avenue West
