Second Person Identified and Charged

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) - A second person has been identified and charged in connection with a break and enter investigation that began in August of 2022.

On Thursday, July 9, 2026, a second person was arrested in relation to a break and enter that occurred at a residence on Highway 112 in Otto Township. The investigation began on August 16, 2022, and the first suspect was arrested in March of 2023.

As a result of the investigation, Bryan WABIE, a 49-year-old of Kirkland Lake, has been arrested and charged with:

  • Break and enter dwelling house - commit indictable offence - two counts
  • Mischief over $5,000

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on August 20, 2026.
