ONE PERSON CHARGED AFTER DRUG SEIZURE IN HAWKESBURY

(HAWKESBURY, ON) - One person face charges after a drug seizure in Hawkesbury.
On Friday, July 10, 2026, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) executed a search warrant at a residence on James St in Hawkesbury.
One person was arrested at the scene. Officers seized more than 770 tablets of suspected methamphetamine (speed). They also seized $40 in cash, as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.
Lisa QUESNEL, age 35 of Hawkesbury is each charged with:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
The accused have been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in L’Orignal on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
