OUTSTANDING WARRANT LEADS TO ARREST IN DEMORESTVILLE

(Prince Edward County, ON) - Members of the Prince Edward County and Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Offender Management and Apprehension Program (OMAP) have arrested a wanted individual on an outstanding warrant stemming from an intimate partner violence investigation.
In 2024, the Northumberland OPP investigated an intimate partner violence incident and subsequently obtained grounds to charge an individual. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
On June 24, 2026, OMAP officers located and arrested the individual at a multiplex residence on North Big Island Road in Prince Edward County. He was taken into custody without incident on the strength of the outstanding warrant.
As a result, Timothy McGrath, age 35 of no fixed address, has been charged with:
- Failure to comply with a release order - other than to attend court
The accused was held for a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice.
