CHARGES LAID IN THREATS CALL

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after responding to a threats call for service.
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, at approximately 6:15 pm, Renfrew OPP responded to a threats call for service in the Town of Arnprior.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:
- Mischief- destroys or damages property
- Obstruct peace officer
- Seven counts of uttering threats- cause death or bodily harm
- Uttering threats- damage property
The accused was held for a bail hearing.
