MULTIPLE CHARGES LAID IN INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE CALL

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two people after responding to an assault call for service.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at approximately 2:00 am, Renfrew OPP responded to an assault call for service in the Town of Arnprior.
As a result of the investigation, one person was charged with:
- Mischief
- Criminal use of credit card
- Breach of recognizance
- Take motor vehicle without consent
A second person was charged with assault.
The accused parties were released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke at a later date.
