FORT FRANCES SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED

(Fort Frances, ON) - Three people were arrested and charged criminally after police executed a search warrant in Fort Frances.
On June 17, 2026, members of the Rainy River District Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) assisted by the Dryden OPP CSCU, Kenora OPP CSCU, Kenora Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), North West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine Unit executed a search warrant on an Osborne Street apartment.
Three people were arrested and police seized a quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine, as well as currency and other trafficking related property with a combined estimated street value of $42000.
Scott MARTIN, 40-years-old from Fort Frances is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance (fentanyl and cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking, and one count of possession of proceeds of crime under $5000. The accused also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The accused was held in custody by police and has a bail hearing in Fort Frances on June 18, 2026.
Christine OTTERTAIL, 34-years-old from Fort Frances is charged with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance (fentanyl and cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking, one count of possession of proceeds of crime under $5000, and one count of fail to comply with a release order other than to attend court. The accused was held in custody by police and has a bail hearing in Fort Frances on June 18, 2026.
Yvonne ADAMS, 50-years-old from Fort Frances is charged with one count of possession of a Schedule I substance (fentanyl). The accused was released by police and is scheduled to appear in the Fort Frances court on September 10, 2026, to speak to the charge.
