(Fort Frances, ON) - Three people were charged criminally after police stopped a vehicle on Highway 11 near Fort Frances as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
On June 13, 2026, members of the Rainy River District Detachment Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and the Treaty Three Police Service, stopped a vehicle on Highway 11 just outside of Fort Frances that was part of a drug trafficking investigation.
Police arrested three people and recovered drugs, currency and other offence related property with a combined estimated street value of $32000.
Katelynn MELINE, 29-years-old from Fort Frances, Cori GRATTON, 54-years-old from Fort Frances, and Harriette WAGNER, 43-years-old from Rainy River First Nation, are all charged with one count each of possession of a Schedule I substance (cocaine) for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime under $5000. All the accused were held by police for a bail hearing and have been released with a next appearance date of July 23, 2026, in Fort Frances.
