OPP INVESTIGATE A TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) A sedan collided with farm equipment on Communication Road in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
On Saturday, July 11, 2026, at approximately 10:00 pm, Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two-vehicle collision on Communication Road between Fairview Line and Maynard Road.
The driver of the sedan was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The operator of the farm equipment was uninjured.
Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Medical Services attended the scene.
A 73-year-old of Blenheim was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Driving while under suspension
- Careless driving
