(KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) - The City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a motor vehicle collision and requesting witnesses to connect with police.
On Tuesday June 30, 2026, shortly before 11:15 am, members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP were dispatched to a collision involving two motor vehicles on County Road 8. A motor vehicle travelling eastbound on County Road 8 and a transport truck with trailer were involved in a collision. The motor vehicles passenger was sent to Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries.
