(THUNDER BAY, ON) - The Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision on Highway 595.
On March 25th, 2026, shortly before 1:00 pm, members of the Thunder Bay OPP Detachment, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 595 involving a plow truck. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP North West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team and OPP Collision Re-Constructionists are assisting in the ongoing investigation.
Highway 595 has since been re-opened.
