Dangerous Driving Charge Laid After Head-On Collision in Ancaster

Hamilton Police have charged a Caledonia man in connection with a head-on collision in Ancaster that occurred this past February.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2024, just before 4:45 pm, Hamilton Police responded to the area of Trinity Road South and Butter Road West in the City of Hamilton after reports of a head-on collision.

A white Hyundai Elantra sedan and a grey GMC Yukon Suburban were involved in the collision.

Following an investigation, Hamilton Police have identified the driver involved in the collision as a 36-year-old man from Caledonia, who was operating with a suspended licence. He has been charged with Dangerous Operation Causing Bodily Harm and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
