Police Seek Information After Suspicious Vehicle Incidents

Hamilton Police are asking for the public’s assistance as investigators look into two suspicious vehicle-related incidents involving youth in the area of Marion Street.
On Thursday, June 18, 2026, at approximately 9:45 am, a black SUV stopped a female youth in the area of Spitfire Drive and Marion Street. The vehicle was being driven by a female, with a male seated in the front passenger seat. The driver engaged the youth in conversation about dating the male passenger. The youth advised she had a boyfriend and walked away.
On Friday, June 19, 2026, at approximately 9:10 am, a white SUV was observed in the area of Marion Street and Longview Court. The vehicle was again driven by a female, with a male seated in the front passenger seat. The driver attempted to engage a different female youth in conversation; however, the youth did not approach the vehicle and immediately left the area.
Although the vehicles involved were different colours, the female driver and male passenger are believed to have similar descriptions in both incidents.

Hamilton Police are asking residents and motorists in the area to review any dash camera, residential surveillance or other video footage from the area around the time of these incidents.
