Hamilton Police are appealing for the public’s assistance following a shooting at a residence in the area of Rymal Road East and Atessa Drive.
On July 7, 2026, shortly after 4:30 am, Hamilton Police responded to reports of shots fired at a residence. There were no reported injuries. Damage was limited to a parked vehicle in the driveway and the residence. A neighbouring residence was also struck by a stray bullet. The shooting is believed to be targeted.
Police continue to gather suspect information and are seeking to identify a white or light-coloured vehicle that was seen leaving the area and travelling toward Rymal Road East following the shooting.
