Pair Arrested After Parking Spot Assault

Hamilton Police have arrested two females following an assault investigation that occurred on the Hamilton Mountain.
On Sunday, June 21, 2026, at approximately 9:35 pm, Hamilton Police responded to a parking lot in the area of Upper Wellington Street and Concession Street for reports of an assault.
Police learned that a female victim had been involved in a verbal dispute with two females over a parking issue. The interaction escalated, and the victim was physically assaulted. During the assault, the victim was allegedly punched, pulled to the ground, and dragged by her hair while the suspects uttered racial slurs at the victim.
The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Hamilton Paramedics were notified; however, the victim declined transportation to hospital.
The suspects fled the area in a white Lexus SUV prior to police arrival.
Through continued investigation, including assistance from the Hamilton Police Hate Crime Unit, investigators were able to identify both suspects involved.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, Hamilton Police arrested a 22-year-old female of Hamilton. She has been charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm
On Thursday, June 25, 2026, Hamilton Police arrested a 26-year-old female of Hamilton. She has been charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm
