Hamilton Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Local Business

Hamilton Police are investigating an armed robbery at a local business in the area of Mall Road and Upper Wentworth in Hamilton.
On Monday June 8, 2026, at approximately 1:15 pm, Hamilton police responded to a business for a robbery. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. Through continued investigation, police learned that a single suspect entered the business and directed staff to turn over cash. The suspect carried a large knife during the robbery.
The suspect is described as male white, wearing a black face covering, black long sleeve Carhart shirt, blue jean shorts, and black shoes with white soles. Investigators from the BEAR Unit are appealing for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the investigation.
