Hamilton Police Thwart Early Morning Car Theft

On October 24, 2024 at 1:00 am Hamilton Police responded to an east end address for a vehicle theft in progress. A homeowner observed a suspect entering their vehicle in the driveway and upon arrival by Police, officers were met by a male suspect that fled on foot. After a brief foot chase, Hamilton Police arrested a 15 year old male youth for 6 criminal charges including vehicle theft and fail to comply with release order. The vehicle was recovered at the scene.
Hamilton Police continue to investigate and we are currently searching for occupants of a Black Honda Civic that fled the area during the incident.
