Hamilton Police are investigating a hate-motivated mischief incident targeting a school bus owned by the Waterdown Islamic School.
Sometime between May 26 and May 31, 2026, unknown suspect(s) entered the school bus while it was parked at 499 Mohawk Road East in Hamilton. Once inside, the suspect(s) discharged a fire extinguisher throughout the vehicle, damaged seats, stole property, and left anti-Muslim graffiti.
The incident is being investigated by the Hamilton Police Hate Crime Unit.
