Hamilton Police have launched an investigation after multiple shots were fired in Hamilton’s east end.
On Friday, January 12, 2024, shortly before 1:50 am, Hamilton Police responded to a surge of 911 calls reporting a shooting incident in the area of Garside Avenue South and Main Street.
Police responded to the area and located evidence consistent with a shooting. No physical injuries had occurred from the incident. The shooting is believed to be targeted.
The investigation is in the preliminary stages and there are no suspect descriptions at this time.
