ARREST MADE FOLLOWING ASSAULT AND ROBBERY IN KENORA

(KENORA, ON) - One person has been arrested and charged following a violent robbery in Kenora.
On Saturday, July 11, 2026, officers with the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a robbery that had occurred on Friday, July 10, 2026. The victim sustained serious injuries during the incident.
As a result of the investigation, officers arrested a known individual on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at approximately 10:40 pm
Christopher JACK, 43, of Kenora, has been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
- Aggravated Assault
- Robbery - violence immediately before-after
The accused was remanded into custody and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
