DRUG TRAFFICKING INVESTIGATION LEADS TO CHARGES

(KENORA, ON) - A Kenora resident is facing Criminal Code (CC) and Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) charges following a drug trafficking investigation in Kenora.
In the spring of 2026, members of the Kenora OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) with the assistance of the Kenora OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) commenced a drug trafficking investigation in the city of Kenora.
On Friday, May 29, 2026, at approximately 3:45 pm CDT, officers successfully arrested and charged one individual as a result of this investigation.
Harley MCLEOD, 37 years old of Kenora, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code and Controlled drugs and Substances Act offences:
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - morphine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - fentanyl
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora at a later date.
