KENORA OPP CHARGE INDIVIDUAL FOLLOWING MUSKY POINT MARINA BREAK AND ENTER

(KENORA, ON) - Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged an individual in connection with a break and enter at a business in the City of Kenora.
On July 13, 2026, at approximately 11:00 am, members of the Kenora OPP responded to a report of a break and enter at a marina located on Water Street. Investigation revealed that an individual gained entry to the business during the overnight hours and stole cash and vehicle keys.
Through investigative, including the review of surveillance footage, police identified and arrested the suspect.
As a result of the investigation, Mitchell Landon, 40 years old, of Kenora, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Break and Enter a Place - Commit Indictable Offence, contrary to section 348(1)(b)
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order, contrary to section 733.1(1)
The accused was held in custody and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice for a bail hearing on July 14, 2026.
