KENORA OPP INVESTIGATING ATV INCIDENT RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURIES

(KENORA, ON) - On June 8, 2026, at approximately 10:16 pm, members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) on Sixth Avenue South in the City of Kenora.
A 69-year-old male, identified as Albert CREED, was attempting to load the ATV onto a trailer when he lost control. He fell backward and the ATV came down on top of him. Bystanders assisted in moving the ATV off him before contacting emergency services.
Kenora District Emergency Medical Services (EMS) attended the scene and transported Albert CREED to hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later airlifted to a Winnipeg trauma centre for further treatment.
