MOTORIST CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED

(QUINTE WEST, ON) - The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges in an impaired driving investigation.
On Saturday, July 11, 2026, at approximately 6:15 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop on Division Street, Trenton, resulting in the arrest of the driver for being impaired.
Morgan BURLEY, age 35, from Quinte West, was charged with the following offence:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on August 27, 2026. Additionally, the vehicle they were operating was impounded for seven days, and their licence suspended for 90 days.
