41-year-old St. Catharines Man Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material

In February of 2026, detectives assigned to the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit began an investigation into the possession of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material (CSAEM).
As a result of the investigation, a suspect male from St. Catharines was identified. On Wednesday, June 10, 2026, detectives from the NRPS ICE Unit and Technological Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a St. Catharines residence, and arrested 41-year-old Soren Otto SKOV of St. Catharines for the following Criminal Code offences:
- Accessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
- Possession of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material
SKOV was held in custody after his arrest and is set to appear for a bail hearing on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
