(BURWASH TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged one person after a report of a break and enter.
On Saturday June 13, 2026, at approximately 9:15 pm, members from the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the OPP, were dispatched to a break and enter at a seasonal trailer, which occurred earlier that day on Elbow Ridge Road, Burwash Township.
As a result of the investigation, Matthew BERGER, 31 years-of-age, from Sudbury was arrested and charged with, break, enter dwelling house - commit indictable offence and theft under $5,000.
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on September 9, 2026, in Sudbury.
