ATV COLLISION IN BLUEWATER RESULTS IN A FATALITY

(BLUEWATER, ON) - A single All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) collision in the Municipality of Bluewater has claimed the life of a Bluewater resident.
Just before 7:00 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2026, members of the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Huron County Paramedic Services, and Bluewater Fire Services responded to a collision on Bannockburn Line near Roman Road in Bluewater.
Upon arrival, emergency services located a heavily damaged ATV and its lone operator. The operator was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The deceased is a 44-year-old male resident of Bluewater.
The cause of the collision is being investigated. Members from the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team were at the scene to assist with the collision investigation. Bannockburn Line was closed for a period of time but has since reopened.
