OPP INVESTIGATING TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION INVOLVING MOTORCYCLE

(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Simcoe County Paramedic Services and local fire departments, responded to a two-vehicle motorcycle collision in the Township of Springwater.
On Sunday, July 19, 2026, at approximately 11:10 pm, emergency crews were dispatched to County Road 27 at Bertram Industrial Parkway in the Township of Springwater for a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a commercial van.
As a result of the collision, the rider, a 22-year-old resident of Springwater, was airlifted to a Toronto area hospital by ORNGE Air with life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from the OPP Central Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team.
