TRAFFIC STOPS AND SEARCH WARRANT IN GODERICH YIELD ILLEGAL DRUGS

(GODERICH, ON) - An investigation conducted by officers from the Huron-Perth Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs and offence-related property. Two Huron County residents have been charged.

An investigation initiated by members of the Huron-Perth CSCU led investigators to an individual residing in the Town of Goderich. OPP officers from the Huron-Perth CSCU, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region OPP K-9, and officers from the Huron OPP detachment assisted with the investigation.

On Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, a traffic stop was conducted in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township, which resulted in the driver being arrested for a drug-related offence. A second traffic stop was conducted in the Town of Goderich, which resulted in the driver being arrested for drug-related offences. A search warrant was then executed at an address on Gibbons Street in Goderich, which resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs, and offence-related property.

A quantity of suspected Cocaine was seized. The total value of the illegal drugs seized is estimated at $2,240.

Seized offence-related property included an automobile, weigh scales, packaging, a money counter, and cellular phones totalling $8,300.

A quantity of Canadian currency was seized, totaling $5,627.

Sandra FEAGAN, 57 years-of-age from ACW Twp has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance - Cocaine

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on August 31st, 2026.

Nicholas HILDEBRAND, 28 years-of-age from Goderich has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine, - Trafficking Cocaine

The accused was processed and later released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Goderich on August 31st, 2026.
