OPP INVESTIGATING MOTORCYCLE COLLISION

(BLUEWATER, ON) - A single-vehicle motorcycle collision on Main Street South (Bluewater Highway), in the Village of Bayfield, Municipality of Bluewater, has sent the lone male operator to hospital with serious injuries.
On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, just after 1:30 am, Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Bluewater Fire Department, and Huron County Paramedics, responded to a single-vehicle collision in Bayfield.
Emergency services located a motorcycle and its lone operator, who had been injured. They were transported to a London hospital for further treatment.
The OPP has closed Bluewater Highway to truck traffic at Mill Road south of the Village and at Bayfield Road to the north. Local traffic in Bayfield is being directed around the scene to allow for the investigation to be conducted safely.
