ONE PERSON DECEASED FOLLOWING COLLISION

(HURON, ON) - One person is deceased following a collision involving a single motor vehicle in the Township of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh.
On July 19, 2026, shortly after 9:00 am, the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Lucknow Fire Department responded to a collision involving a vehicle that had left the roadway.
The driver, a 77-year-old resident of Kincardine suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Bruce Road 86 between Sideroad 20 South and Kintail Line, west of Lucknow was closed as members of the Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team assisted Huron OPP with investigating the collision.
All resources have now cleared the area and the roadway has been reopened.
