SINGLE MOTORCYCLE COLLISION CLAIMS LIFE OF WASAGA BEACH RESIDENT

(HURONIA WEST) - Members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Simcoe County Paramedic Services and local fire departments, responded to a fatal single-vehicle motorcycle collision in the Town of Wasaga Beach.
On July 18, 2026, at approximately 7:37 pm, emergency crews were dispatched to Beachwood Road in the Town of Wasaga Beach for a single-vehicle motorcycle collision.
As a result of the collision, the rider, a 40-year-old resident of Wasaga Beach, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Members of the OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) unit attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
