COLLISION RESULTS IN IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGES

(INGERSOLL, ON) - A two-vehicle collision on Highway 401 results in impaired driving charges.
On March 7, 2026, at approximately 3:20 am, members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision between two passenger vehicles, in the westbound lanes of Highway 401, just outside the Town of Ingersoll.
No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, Michael PETRITSIS a 22-year-old resident of Quebec, was charged with:
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on March 31, 2026.
