(INGERSOLL, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating two collisions involving the same driver and same vehicle, as the driver failed to remain at both incidents in the Town of Ingersoll.

One of the vehicles fled the scene and subsequently crashed into a residence on Charles Street West at approximately 8:20 am, at which time the driver fled on foot from the area.

The investigation was assisted by members of the OPP Emergency Response Team, Tactics and Rescue Unit, and OPP Canine Unit.

OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of the vehicle. Area residents, businesses and drivers in the area at that time are asked to check their security systems, doorbell cameras, along with dashcams for possible footage of the individual.

The individual is described as:

  • Black male
  • Slim build
  • Late 20s to early 30s
  • Wearing a white t-shirt and dark jogging suit
