CRASH SENDS ONE TO HOSPITAL WITH LIFE THREATENING INJURIES

(NORWICH, ON) - One individual remains in hospital with life threatening injuries as the result of a single vehicle collision in Norwich Township.

On Monday, July 6, 2026, at approximately 1:50 pm, members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Fire, and Emergency Medical Services responded to the report of a single-vehicle collision on Evergreen Street in Norwich Township.

The lone occupant, a 27-year-old male resident of Norwich Township was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Evergreen Street was closed at Highway 59 and McCready Line for several hours but has since re-opened.

The Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME) along with members from Oxford OPP continue to investigate.
